In some federal states in Germany, mother’s offices, so-called network centres, offer regional support and networking.
They assume the following tasks:
- Interlinking regional mother’s centres
- Further training and supervision on site
- Cooperation with federal state and local authorities
- Advisory service for politicians and authorities
- Public relations in their region
- Cooperation with NGO’s, associations and groups concerned with family and young people.
This service is offered by Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, eastern Germany and Rhineland-Palatinate.
